Conditions of Sale
Title of Goods
a) All risk in the goods shall pass to the customer on delivery but the goods shall remain the property of Tile Studio Esher until paid for in full by the customer.
b) If the customer sells or otherwise disposes of the goods before paying for them he shall hold the proceeds of sale on trust for Tile Studio Esher.
c) If the customer ceases trading for any reason either through the appointment of a receiver or the issuing g of a winding-up order or through a voluntary liquidation he shall place the goods at the disposal of Tile Studio Esher who shall be entitled to enter the customers’ premises in order to remove the goods concerned.
Returns and re-stocking policy
a) All returns must be made within 10 days of delivery/collection in full box quantities.
b) Goods must be returned in perfect condition and a 25% handling charge and carriage return fee will be levied.
c) Special order items from Spain & Italy and all natural stones are non-returnable once orders have been placed.
Breakages and Shortages
a) No claim for damage or shortages will be accepted unless notified within three days of delivery/collection with images.
a) All tiles are subject to shade variation and tiles from different boxes should be mixed.
b) Customers must order the correct quantity for their requirements as the company cannot guarantee to match the shades of previous orders.
c) Any complaint relating to shade variation/crazing must be notified before the tiles are fixed.
d) No subsequent claims for labour can be entertained.
a) Customers are advised that certain hand-made products are extremely “rustic” by design and surface, size and colour may vary very substantially even within the same batch. These products should be carefully expected prior to acceptance as no returns or subsequent claims will be entertained.
a) No claims will be considered once the tiles have been fixed.
a) All prices are subject to charge and are subject to Value Added Tax.
a) Deliveries are per special arrangement and are chargeable.
b) Small orders sent via parcel carrier delivered to the door, less than 4m2
c) Large Orders delivered on a large curtain sided lorry with a tail-lift, CURB-SIDE ONLY.
d) The goods must be checked on receipt
e) Once unloaded the goods become the responsibility of the receiver
f) Delivery times - anytime between 08.00-18.00. ETA’s cannot be provided.
Order Payment Policy
a) Full payment is required upon order.
Customer measurements / Calculation Service
a) Any assistance provided in estimating quantities based on customer measurements cannot always be 100% accurate and we are therefore unable to take responsibility for any under or over estimations.
